I went to the Pride parade for the first time the other week and kept meaning to post about it. Here’s a video of it, that I neither appear in nor had any hand in making but my mum and most renowned sibling are around the 2:20 mark.

I’ve meant to post a picture of my books for ages, and this is probably the tidiest it’s going to look for a while! So here they are, the bulk of my library. These are all the ones who live in Cork, I have another chunk with me here in Cardiff. I haven’t been keeping up with cataloguing but I’ve over seven hundred books. 

There is a lot of random stuffs on the shelves too…

It is a good idea to a have a workblog, I was just being bitter. My workblog has less than a tenth of the followers I have for very reblog heavy personal/scrapbooky main blog.

I know, I know, I need to post something there again… but I haven’t even made anything in months. I’ve just been in a bit of a mental fug lately and trying to do some of the academic writing for my dissertation. I have felt a bit more inspired for the last couple of day though, and I’m going to do some stuff son.

I need to just make things for myself and not for my course or my followers. I need to just make!

I would have gotten more dressed up but I almost decided not to go… I am wearing a nice John Campbell t-shirt though! 

I’ve nothing to do with Fine Gael, just ended up quite near their banner! (there was only a few of them)

This was my first pride parade ever, I was usually either working or in the wrong country at the time. It was interesting. They were so many dogs. I don’t know how to feel about the whole experience really. There was too many people and I didn’t know what I should do. Felt like a bit of a lump. I went for a couple of drinks after then went back to a house party. I almost went out for the night but I decided against it. I had kinda weird earlier when it was quiet and I wouldn’t really have know people. I never do well going out. I thought in general I did quite well to get out of the house and interact with people.
